Cevichería Willy's:
when the catch of the day becomes measurable reservations

A high-end Peruvian ceviche restaurant with a clear value proposition —catch of the day, fully fresh products and the best service— but without a single owned digital channel. The whole menu and reservations lived on third-party social media. We designed and built a premium landing page focused 100% on conversion: the direct, professional and measurable channel the business didn't have.

01 — The Challenge

A premium brand with no owned digital presence

Willy's had no website of its own and relied entirely on social media to show its menu and handle reservations. There was no direct, professional or measurable channel to attract customers.

The result: the business's value proposition —catch of the day, fully fresh products and the best service— wasn't reflected in a digital experience worthy of its premium positioning. Every reservation meant the customer had to find the number, write and wait for a reply, with all the friction and drop-off that entails.

The technical challenge was twofold: build an owned conversion channel the business could measure and control, and do it with a visual experience polished enough to communicate quality before the first bite.

02 — The Solution

A single-page landing, built 100% for conversion

We designed and built a single-page landing where every section pushes toward the same action: book a table. The WhatsApp funnel is present at every touchpoint, and the premium identity is built with animation and an interactive water effect that evokes the freshness of the sea.

WhatsApp reservation funnel

Pre-filled messages from every touchpoint: hero, navigation, menu, sticky mobile bar and reservation form. From finding the number and typing, to a single click with the message ready.

Visual menu with direct ordering

Each dish with its photograph and a direct WhatsApp order button. The menu stops being a static PDF and becomes a conversion surface.

Animated premium identity

Fluid GSAP animations and an interactive water effect in the hero (WebGL/OGL) that communicates freshness and class without a single word. Design is part of the sales pitch.

Owner-editable content

Contact, address, hours, menu and reviews centralized in an editable architecture. The team updates information, dishes and prices without touching code or recurring costs.

Complete technical SEO

Metadata, Schema.org structured data (Restaurant), sitemap, robots.txt and an integrated location map. A solid base for local search visibility from day one.

Accessibility & performance

Mobile-first responsive design, respect for prefers-reduced-motion, semantic HTML and alt text on images. A 100% static site that loads almost instantly.

03 — Tech Stack

Lightweight outside, premium inside

Astro ships only the JavaScript interactivity needs (60 KB gzip in total), while GSAP and WebGL are reserved for the moments where animation truly adds brand perception. The result: an almost-instant site that doesn't sacrifice finish.
