CarsHub:
car auctions at the level of the international benchmarks

A Peruvian vehicle auction platform —from budget to high-end— with a premium CarsHub Deluxe tier, built from scratch to compete in design and experience with Bring a Trailer and Collecting Cars. Visually striking, ultra-fast and maintainable. Currently in its Delivery 1: foundation, design system and a complete Home.

Case in construction. CarsHub is in its Delivery 1 (foundation + Home) and is not yet in production with real users. The performance figures are real build measurements; the business impact is presented as a value proposition / projection based on industry benchmarks, not as results already achieved with real traffic.

01 — The Challenge

Competing with global benchmarks from the Peruvian market

Build from scratch an auction platform that could compete in design and experience with international benchmarks like Bring a Trailer and Collecting Cars, but focused on the Peruvian market.

The product had to be visually striking, ultra-fast, accessible and maintainable — and support a catalog ranging from budget cars to high-end, with a premium tier (CarsHub Deluxe) as a subscription revenue line.

02 — The Solution · Delivery 1

The product foundation and a complete Home

We designed and implemented the base the whole product will grow on: a proprietary design system, a high-impact homepage and the reusable components that will accelerate every future feature.

Proprietary design system

Brand palette, typography and components with a light/dark mode that respects the system preference and persists the user choice.

High-impact homepage

Dynamic hero, category navigation, auction carousels with live countdowns, a premium Deluxe section, testimonials and lead capture (newsletter).

Reactive auction cards

Reactive watchlist (persistent favorites), live timer, and a responsive header/footer with mobile menu. Components built to be reused.

Technical SEO & accessibility

Meta tags, Open Graph and canonical, page transitions and baseline accessibility: keyboard navigation, ARIA and contrast.

03 — Stack & Technical Decisions

Static architecture: speed and SEO by design

We chose a static (Jamstack) architecture to maximize speed and SEO, and to ship almost zero JavaScript to the browser: only the interactive parts hydrate. For scale, the median website today ships ~500 KB of JavaScript; CarsHub ships ~5 KB — about 90× less.

05 — How It Helps the Business

Value proposition

Projection. Expected benefits based on industry benchmarks; not yet measured with real traffic. Once deployed with analytics, we'll report real KPIs (conversion, bounce, etc.).

More conversion through speed

Static, lightweight sites load in a fraction of the time; less JS = less mobile abandonment. Every second of improvement lowers bounce and lifts conversion.

More organic traffic (SEO)

Static rendering + meta/Open Graph + sitemap-ready → better indexing than a heavy SPA, reducing acquisition cost.

Lead capture from day 1

Newsletter and CTAs toward the Deluxe tier, opening a premium subscription revenue line.

Minimal infrastructure cost

Being static, it deploys on CDN at near-zero cost and very high availability.

Time-to-market & maintainability

Design system + reusable components → new pages and features ship faster and more consistently.

Premium brand & trust

Flawless dark mode and international-grade UI raise the perceived quality of the product against local competition.
